Salvador will become the first city in Latin America to host the full Salon du Chocolat experience
Salvador was the chosen city to host the first major Brazilian edition of Salon du Chocolat, the world’s largest event dedicated to the universe of cocoa and chocolate.
Officially headquartered in Paris, France, the event will take place in December 2026 at the Salvador Convention Center, bringing together chocolatiers, renowned chefs, cocoa producers, international brands and chocolate enthusiasts from around the world.
Founded in 1994, Salon du Chocolat became the world’s most prestigious annual cocoa and chocolate event, with editions held in cities such as Paris, Tokyo, New York and Dubai.

Salvador was chosen to host the first full edition of Salon du Chocolat in Brazil
Salvador was selected to host the first full edition of Salon du Chocolat Brazil, the world's largest event dedicated to cocoa and chocolate.
The announcement was made in May 2026 during a press conference held at Restaurante Amado, officially marking the arrival of the event in Brazil.
Among the first confirmed guests is renowned French chef Guillaume Gomez, Ambassador of French Gastronomy and former Executive Chef of the Élysée Palace for more than three decades.
Officially headquartered in Paris and present in cities such as New York, Tokyo and Shanghai, Salon du Chocolat arrives in Bahia to place Brazil on the official calendar of the world's premier cocoa and chocolate gathering.
